If you want to be well-supported when becoming a real estate agent, finding the right brokerage is a big deal. Why did I choose Windermere Real Estate when I got my license, and specifically, Windermere Monroe?
-The collaboration and comradery among the agents. Two (and many more) minds are better than one.
-The diversity of agents and staff brings fresh and valuable perspectives.
-The tools and resources to help me serve my clients in this fast-paced, digital age.
-The Windermere Foundation – they constantly give back wherever they can. Every single agent even gives to the foundation on every transaction. No one can opt out.
Community – opportunities to give back to the neighborhoods we serve with Community Service Day and other events.
-My brokerage firm always has my back. There is always someone to assist with questions and concerns.
-The ability to meet a client at any Windermere office in any state. Whether you’re buying or selling a home in Snohomish or Walla Walla, we have a meeting place. The staff is always welcoming, friendly and accommodating.
And last but probably most important...
-The “Windermere Way;” true professionalism with higher industry standards and ethical values. Clients are ALWAYS the first priority.

June 19th is the day that commemorates the end of slavery in the U.S. On this day in 1865, Union General Granger rode into Galveston, TX to share the news the Civil War had ended, and slaves had been freed. Let's celebrate this great day!

Today I’m sharing 3 points of straight-talk wisdom for you based on my 20 years in the industry. No sugar coating here! As a real estate agent, here's what I would do if I was selling my house this year:
#1 - I would price it right the first time.
Overpriced homes can linger on the market, which can lead to lower offers down the line. I would conduct a thorough market analysis, which your agent can do for you, to help you set the right price based on comparable properties in your area and current market conditions.
#2 - I would stage my home.
I know firsthand how important that first impression is. Keeping the home meticulously clean, decluttered, and in excellent condition is paramount. I might even consider hiring a professional home stager to ensure my home appeals to a broad spectrum of potential buyers.
#3 - I would double down on marketing.
I would intensify my marketing efforts. Even in a challenging market, potential buyers exist. I would focus on ensuring they find my property amidst the competition.
Of course, that's where a real estate professional comes in!

We are forever grateful for the ultimate sacrifice of those who died for our country. May their courage and dedication never be forgotten. We don’t know them all, but we owe them all.
