Let’s come together with our LGBTQIA+ community members in unity and support of everything they have been through and have fought for.

Today I’m sharing 3 points of straight-talk wisdom for you based on my 20 years in the industry. No sugar coating here! As a real estate agent, here's what I would do if I was selling my house this year:

#1 - I would price it right the first time.
Overpriced homes can linger on the market, which can lead to lower offers down the line. I would conduct a thorough market analysis, which your agent can do for you, to help you set the right price based on comparable properties in your area and current market conditions.

#2 - I would stage my home.
I know firsthand how important that first impression is. Keeping the home meticulously clean, decluttered, and in excellent condition is paramount. I might even consider hiring a professional home stager to ensure my home appeals to a broad spectrum of potential buyers.

#3 - I would double down on marketing.
I would intensify my marketing efforts. Even in a challenging market, potential buyers exist. I would focus on ensuring they find my property amidst the competition.

Of course, that's where a real estate professional comes in!

Welcome June! As the school year comes to a close, there are plenty of activities to do for the whole family to take part in. No one will be bored! Many of our Monroe favorites are back along with some new additions to bring our community together even more.
