THE TOTAL INDOOR FOOTBALL LEAGUE STARTS SOON
Open tryouts are October 5th and 7th

Rossford, OH – A new brand of football comes to suburban Toledo this
winter. The Total Indoor Football League (TIFL) will bring an exciting brand of fast paced, high energy, tackle football indoors this December and January.

“The TIFL is like Arena Football, with a few twists” said Total Sports Football Director Scott
Beard. “We are emphasizing safety.” Rules have put in place to protect players. There will be no kicking plays in the TIFL. Rules limiting blitzing and how many players must start in the defensive “box” will also help with safety.

The TIFL features 8 versus 8 adult (18 years of age and older) football played on a boarded
(enclosed) field the size of a hockey rink. Games are scheduled for Saturday nights. The league will consist of four teams, with rosters of 15-20 players each, coached by local high school and semi pro coaches.

Tryouts are free, and will take place on October 5th and October 7th, at Total Sports – Rossford. If a player is selected to play in the league, there is a $150 player fee.

5 years ago today, the Timberwolves won the Sunshine Bowl in Miami Gardens, Florida.

We were the number 2 story of the year in the Monroe News.

We’re all sad it’s gone, but what a run with great memories for 25 years.

This event is free and open to the public, and may be the last chance to purchase a Timberwolves hat, T-shirt, or jersey. Anyone looking to purchase merchandise is encouraged to arrive at 6pm.

T-shirts are half price ($6).... there aren’t many left.

Jerseys are $20 each. First come, first served.
