I designed these Chibitalia Kokeshi about 15 years ago back when I was printing my Kokeshi as postcards. Lately I've seen a resurgence of 2010s animes in cosplay choices so I decided to finally make these into my acrylic charms

Please welcome Chibi Italy and Holy Roman Empire, representing the Hetalia family, to my acrylic wall of charms.

Let's see how these do. I also have designs for America, Canada, and Britain, but I'm hesitant to bring them to life yet due to the political atmosphere. Canadians, please bring back your cosplayers to the Seattle geeky conventions, we miss you!

I wanted to practicing modeling in Blender to see if the structure would build up properly when 3D printed. I don't know if the fail was my design or based on the print quality.
This was ultimately suppose to finish as a rose but I had some time to spare so I printed it while I was still working on the inner petals.

I bought a drop and a hole saw kit to try to cut holes into the pages of some hardcover books to try to bring back my book drawer product line. Unfortunately there was two issues. The top layers shredded way too much. The drill started smoking. I don't know if the motor was burning or the paper particles were getting into the drill motor.

I considered this a failed experiment, but at least I tried and learned.

Leveled up my clicker keycaps into SPINNY clicky keycaps.

Inspiration hit and I happened to have the parts on hand. 🤩

They don't work with all my charms but whatever.

I'll have these first at the next weekend.

Bring an ice pack!

If you're local.
Spend the time making a nice picnic style lunch at home. We don't need to rely on granola bars and nutritional supplement shakes for our day's body fuel.

If you're not local
Stop by the grocery store and load up on prepped food from the deli section. You can (try to) do this on your way in or the night before if your hotel has a mini fridge. I often opt for AirBnb just to have a kitchen. Cause making cup of noodles from a coffee machine just doesn't cut it.

Why I don't buy fresh hot food
I rarely buy food while vending, especially when solo. I've seen vendors disappear from their booth (even relying on a volunteer booth sitter) for an hour waiting on line to order food, then waiting in line to receive the food. It's often really expensive so there goes your earnings for the day. And honestly, half the venues I've been to the food is crap so it make wasting the premium dollars on that all the more disturbing.

Buy bottled coffee
Saves you the time from lining up at a coffee stand and you can throw it into your bag or boxes without worrying about burning yourself. I know I know, even cheaper to make your own, but I don't
