HOW WE STARTED

To be honest one day i was sitting on my front porch, and

  • A man drove by my house, turned around stopped and commented on the boat that was parked in front of my house. I told him the boat was not mine it was the the mans next door. he then said it must be good for trolling, to which I said i got no clue I have never been on the lakes fishing, for walleyes. told him as a vet. i only have so much cash to work with. he said you have never been trolling for eyes. once again i said no, he said he was going this weekend an would i like to go. to which I Stated hell yes lol. well the trip was one of my life. We broke 2 props, got caught in a storm the blew up out of nowhere. 4 to 5 ft waves, still have the video of it lol. only got one eye. left and went back to jeff's bait and tackle. were we had stopped that morning the man behind the counter one Randy Burton. stated, he was to busy which he was with other customers in the store at the time. and by the time we got to the counter the man i was with got in a little hurry so he never did say anything. well randy said if he would have had the chance to talk he would have pointed out the board behind him which had the hot reports of the fish. we then got the colors they were hitting on went back out an killed them :D :D :D small ones eating size now that i know the difference, between eating size and just Hogs :D, that one day that one man behind the counter, and some kind words. and some help. made me fall in love with walleye fishing. On the way home I Told my friend Jim. that I had a 22ft deck boat that hold 15 people, would it be possible for me to turn my boat in to a trolling boat, and do for other vets that he did for me, he said it would take time but yes. that was june 2018 by aug 2018 i joined a walleye group page, and started telling some members what i was going to do. by sept, we had a page. and did our first giveaway. brand new gear to 10 kids that did not have their own poles. After that we started collecting fishing stuff from everywhere, new used. like new. and still do to this day do we collect fishing stuff. giving it to boy scouts, girl scouts, hospital pediatric wards, any one that needs a pole. The smiles I Get to see on these children's faces is so wonderful. I am proud and honored to have such a great group of people with and behind me. we now have 11 boats in our fleet, and growing. to days date is 3-7-2019 and I am telling you our story.
