Northeast Louisiana sketchers and artists, we have been granted permission to gather on the grounds of one of Monroe’s beloved landmarks, Layton Castle. Bring your sketchbooks, or if you are a painter, bring your paints and easels. Also, bring your chairs and anything else you would bring for plein art out in a field.

Parking: park in grass or dirt in back, or any parking spots EXCEPT the Carraige House which is for their guests. And, do not block the drive.

They did ask that we SHARE photos of our work either by making posts public/shareable and tagging, and/or email them to: [email protected]
