The Head Start and Early Head Start Programs of Union County Community Action, Inc. are now accepting applications for Program Year 2026–2027.

Applications are open for pregnant mothers and children from birth to age 5, including children with disabilities.

Exciting News for Anson County Families!

UCCA Head Start is opening a new classroom for 4 year old children at Ansonville Elementary School in August 2026, and we are now recruiting families for the 2026–2027 program year.

Head Start helps children build the skills they need for school and life through early learning, health, nutrition, family support, and school readiness services.

Families may qualify based on income, foster care, homelessness, TANF/SSI, SNAP or other eligibility factors.
