Great things are happening in Northeast Louisiana.
FTI has announced a new facility in Ouachita Parish, just outside of Monroe.
The national leader in engineering, construction, manufacturing, and clean energy solutions is investing $80 million to build a new manufacturing facility in Ouachita Parish that will create more than 200 new jobs for Louisiana residents.
This milestone project happened because of the partnership and leadership of Louisiana Economic Development, the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD), Kevin Crosby of Lazenby & Associates, Superintendent Todd Guice, and the property owner. Their collaboration, alongside local and regional partners, made this investment possible, and continues to strengthen Northeast Louisiana's position as a destination for business growth and industrial development.
The project represents another significant investment in Northeast Louisiana, and will create opportunities ranging from skilled trades and leadership positions to paid apprenticeships and entry-level careers.
When companies like FTI choose Northeast Louisiana, the impact extends far beyond a single facility. It creates opportunity, strengthens our workforce, and builds momentum for communities across the region.

NovaSpark Energy's expansion into Ouachita Parish and Houma represents another win for Louisiana's growing energy and advanced manufacturing sectors.
Overall the company will create 300 direct new jobs and retain three existing positions, with an average annual salary of $76,000. Louisiana Economic Development estimates the project will also generate an additional 318 indirect jobs, resulting in 618 potential new job opportunities across the Bayou and Northeast Regions.
In Northeast Louisiana, NovaSpark's investment will support the expansion of its existing production and development facility in West Monroe, creating 60 new jobs and strengthening Ouachita Parish's growing presence in advanced manufacturing, energy innovation, and technologies.
NovaSpark develops advanced energy technologies, including atmospheric hydrogen generators that support critical infrastructure, emergency response, energy resilience, and national defense applications. As demand for reliable and secure energy solutions continues to grow, investments like this help position Louisiana as a leader in next-generation energy innovation.
A special thank you to Louisiana Economic Development for its leadership and partnership in helping make this expansion possible. Projects like NovaSpark demonstrate how collaboration between industry, state leaders, educational institutions, and local communities continues to create new opportunities across Louisiana.
