Hi Friends, You all know that we are all about living CLEAN. Eating clean, without chemicals. I am also interested in keeping those cleaning chemicals out of my house. Guess what we have this week -- ASPARAGUS! Our first pairing was with steak and grits. We have green and purple and both are very sweet. Come early to the farmer's market if you want some. We usually sell out of asparagus in the first half hour.

NEW CHICKS!! Is there anything cuter? New chicks for Haddon means more eggs for you in the summer. But in the meantime, our established hens are laying like crazy and we have plenty to share. Come to the Matthews' Community Farmers Market tomorrow for some of Heather's Happy chicken eggs or Haddon"s Heritage duck eggs.

It's that time of year when winter crops are winding down and the spring seeds are being planted. We still have spinach, carrots, sweet potatoes, beets and lettuce to sell at the Matthews Community Farmers Market on Saturday. See you there!
