A gaming computer unexpectedly saved its owner's life after a neighbor's dog accidentally discharged a firearm. The incident occurred in the middle of the night when a Reddit user was startled awake by a loud bang and shattering glass. Investigators later determined that a stray bullet had traveled through the shared wall, heading straight toward where the owner was sleeping. However, the projectile struck the computer's motherboard and a RAM stick, altering its trajectory and leaving the bullet harmlessly under the owner's pillow. The distraught neighbor immediately apologized and took responsibility for the bizarre accident. Authorities have since confiscated the firearm and charged the neighbor with criminal negligence. The owner is now using a $3,500 insurance payout to build a replacement rig.

A woman says a routine FaceTime call with her long-distance boyfriend turned into an unexpected relationship-ending moment -- thanks to the reflection in his sunglasses. Ava, who shared the story on TikTok, says she was chatting with her boyfriend as he boarded a flight to Italy when she noticed something strange in the reflection of his black Ray-Ban sunglasses. What she claims she saw wasn't another passenger or an airport sign. It was the dating app Hinge. The now-viral screenshot appears to show her boyfriend looking at his phone while FaceTiming her, with the app allegedly visible in the mirrored lenses of his sunglasses. Ava summed up the shocking discovery with an on-screen caption that read: "POV: On FT with my Italian boyfriend and he's scrolling on Hinge." Adding insult to injury, Ava said she was just three days away from boarding a flight to Europe to visit him. "Ray-Ban out here doing God's work," she joked in the caption accompanying the post.
