Sitting in the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport decompressing a little from being on the long flight home…going through pictures and wanted you to see the huge installation in the middle of the St. Pancras International train station…this was to commemorate the 100 years of Winnie the Pooh and the 100 Acre Wood collaboration with Fortnum and Masons in London🩵🩵🩵🐝🐝🐝🧸🧸🧸

First stop this morning...a very important one, Liberty London it was absolutely beautiful...Georgia on the ground floor was so lovely and kind, she was very informative and told us exactly what we should do! I had THE BEST time here, everything was stunning... I picked up something for Annie and Lucie...as well as myself😉💜💜

A wonderful day is being at The Festival of Quilts 2026 in the UK with friends from home and our friend Judy Newman who was there with her daughter Emma showing lots of new fabric collections and the stunning Gooch Coverlet quilt for 2 Green Zebras Devonstone Collection we have seen and bought so many beautiful things...l have 1 question though...please tell me why our local quilt show doesn’t have a gin fizz bar like this one has? 😉😂😬🥰

Courthouse Farm is situated right next to the Portishead Church of England...we were privy to hearing these beautiful bells every day that we’ve been here...we walked around the hedge yesterday to visit this beautiful old church...that’s the view of the bell tower of the church through the tower and main house of the farm that we stayed in✨✨✨

Today was another outstanding day...we had a special visitor right before lunch (lovely Lizzie) stopped in and brought all of her wares with her, so we shopped till our hearts were content and then enjoyed a wonderful lunch with she and her husband along with our gracious hosts Helen and Mick...

This is my Courthouse Farm project completed ✔️ when I visit the Festival of Quilts later this week, I plan to bring back the lovely printed panels that we mixed with an antique French tea towel...Judy and Margaret have given me permission to replicate this beautiful bag in a class when we get home!!! So, I will hopefully be able to source essential components while I’m here...if you think you would like to reserve a spot for this, let me know and I’ll start a list‼️

Yesterday we took a little excursion and went into Clifton...a lovely town with a beautiful suspension bridge and Georgian terraces...we shopped in a Victorian Arcade where I found the sweetest little English silver brooch that had my oldest granddaughters name on it💖on the way back to Court House Farm we drove past the Bristol Channel...that’s Wales across the way. We came back to a beautiful lunch and the stitched the rest of the afternoon!
We finished the evening with supper at 7:30...a stunning buffet style barbecue and then a little walk through the flowers and on to our beds💖another full and fulfilled day💖
