Way to go Constance!!
Today is World Semicolon Day! It's a day to raise awareness for mental health, su***de prevention, and addiction recovery. Using the symbol ";", it signifies that a story (or life) continues rather than ends, encouraging strength for those struggling with mental health issues.
People get tattoos, temporary or permanent, may wear shirts, create signs or various other methods to spread awareness and remind themselves and others that there is more to their story!
If you or a loved one is struggling and need someone to speak to you can call 988 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and find someone who can help.
Special thanks to Constance from River Raisin Clubhouse for this post idea!

❄️ WINTER WEATHER REMINDERS ❄️
Snow and cold is here! Here’s what to know about snow removal and snow emergencies in the City of Monroe.
Snow Removal
▶ Roads will be plowed once snow reaches 2 inches or more
▶ Crews will focus on major roads first, then local streets, dead ends, and cul-de-sacs when time allows
▶ Major roads and stop sign approaches on local streets will be salted (NOT entire neighborhood blocks)
Snow Emergencies:
If/when a snow emergency is declared in Monroe:
🚨Information will be shared on City social media, website and through local alerts.
❌There will be no parking on designated City streets (linked below) so plows can clear the roads. Streets are cleared faster when cars are off the road.
How You Can Help🚘
🚘If snow is in the forecast, please move your parked cars off the street whenever possible so plowing is faster, safer and more effective.
For more information about City snow removal policy, snow emergency procedures and a closer look at the street map, please visit the link below.
