Stay alert...prepare for traffic issues.

🚧⚠️ Road Closure Alert: Starting Monday, Oct. 6, crews will be making repairs on Fowler Secrest Rd. between James Hamilton Road and Secrest Shortcut Road.

The project will take roughly two weeks with road and drainage repairs happening during daylight hours.

Expect temporary lane closures, traffic control, and delays. Please slow down, stay alert, and consider alternate routes.

Folks here is an update on the Myers Road/N. Rocky River project...it was voted down unanimously at City Council.

At last night's Planning Board meeting the below development was NOT recommended for approval. This development will go to the City Council for a final vote.

On March 6th, 2024 at 6pm the Planning Board (300 W. Crowell Street) will consider an apartment complex with 336 apartments and 36 townhomes at Myers Road near Rocky River Rd.

I wanted to show you how much of a difference you as a community can make.

The first picture is the CURRENT site plan for the 2500 Fowler Secrest Road development. (I hope it is big enough to see..38 residences)

The second pic is the OLD site plan...with about 121 residences proposed.

Update on the 2500 Fowler Secrest development. There is a developer who is building 38 homes on the property. The entrance directly feeds onto Fowler Secrest Road and there is no second entrance in Fox Hunt Estates.

If I get more information I will let everyone know.

I know that there were neighbors who didn't want any homes, but 38 is a good number and the density will match the surrounding area.

So, good work neighbors and stay involved in the communtity.

I made it around most of Fox Hunt Estates today going door to door to make sure folks knew they had a neighbor running for Monroe City Council.
