In a break from the Hartford usual, 15 Democrats joined unanimous Republican opposition in a vote to ban America’s most popular pistol from CT’s shelves. There is a glimmer of hope amongst this mess.

Updated language to the bill includes an amendment combining HB5454, a $70 refund to pistol permit applicants if their application isn’t returned in applicable time limits as required by state statute.
