UPDATE from a friend of the family:
The two male coworkers were leaving work when ICE agents asked them to pull over. The two men assumed it was a routine traffic stop until they recognized the ICE vehicles. The man said he fled because he was scared, even though he had documentation and was working in the US legally.
Both men panicked and left the scene, with one sustaining injuries. It is not known why shots were fired by the ICE agents. No arrests have been made.

A West Monroe resident has reported that a family member was shot at Friday evening during an ICE-involved pursuit. The victim resides legally in the United States, was transported to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, and was not taken into custody.

I have received this information from more than one source, including photos and identifying information (which I will not be sharing). I am confident that it is true.

Erica, Annie, Tommy and I will be at the shop all day, selling $5 hotdog plates (hotdog, optional toppings, chips, soda) and doing fun lil tattoos!
