Everyone, meet our newest addition to the barn… 🐐✨

Jamie the Billy Goat has arrived at Chestnut Lane! In this photo, he’s tucked right up under Gabe while Gabe grabs a drink, with Cookie close by—like he’s been part of the crew all along.

Jamie clearly wasted no time making friends. Brave, curious, and completely unbothered, he’s already fitting right in with the horses and adding a whole lot of personality to the barn.

Be sure to say hello next time you’re out—he might just be hanging out with the big guys like he owns the place! 💛

We’re excited to focus on two amazing weeks of summer camp coming up in July—and we’d love for your rider to join us!

Our Chestnut Lane Summer Camp is the perfect way for riders to build confidence, improve their skills, and have a blast at the barn. Each day is filled with hands-on horse time, riding instruction, horsemanship lessons, games, and plenty of fun with friends—both new and old.

Whether your rider is just getting started or already loves being in the saddle, camp is a great way to:
• Gain more riding experience and confidence
• Learn more about horse care and barn life
• Build friendships with other horse-loving kids
• Enjoy a fun, active, and screen-free week outdoors

This past Saturday morning at the Blowing Rock Charity Horse Show brought another round of strong rides and great effort from our team!

In the ASB Walk Trot Pleasure 12 & Under, CH Our Belleman “Theo” & Isla Boucher put in a solid ride in a competitive class.

The ASB Park Pleasure Open Championship saw great success with Cloverleaf Red Wolf “JR” & Matt Lightner earning Reserve Champion honors, and Queen of Carolina “Ziva” & Lindsey Lightner riding to a 4th place finish.

WCC Heartland Janie “Janie” & Brynn Garrett had a fantastic trip to take the win in the AHHS Roadster Pony Under Saddle Medallion—congratulations! 🏆

In the Single Bit Walk Trot Canter Championship, Kiss of Royalty NKF “Maverick” & Delaney Watkins earned a great 4th place finish in a competitive class, while Marc’d Just Right “Sonny” & Emma Karibian and CN Out and About “Drifter” & Summer Nunn both put in good rides.

We’re proud of all our riders for their hard work and dedication! 💙

From powerful performances to polished rides, this team brought the energy, the style, and the heart to every class. The competition was tough, the classes were big, and our riders rose to the occasion every time.

We are so proud of the dedication, teamwork, and sportsmanship shown all week long—both in and out of the ring. These moments, these rides, and these memories are what it’s all about.
