Hip Hip Hooray for Ice Cream! Students who attended school today were rewarded with an ice cream party.

Kindergarten and their cross curricular activity with letter "P" and planting parsley (living things); STEM Lab with Mrs. Lewis for Second Grade (building a helicopter) and Third Grade (Solar Grasshoppers)

More happenings this week...
Third graders conducted an experiment on balanced, unbalanced forces and gravity. Students demonstrated going from a balanced force to an unbalanced force.

Day 5: "My Country Tis of Thee" ....We ended Freedom Week by wearing the colors red, white or blue with jeans to show our pride in the United States. Students that participated each day were treated to ice cream covered fruit and played in the gym.

During Freedom Week, students learned about a different governing document of the United States each day. We hope the discussions and activities this week make our students have a better understanding of how the country operates.

**ATTENTION PARENTS **

Please adhere to the attire for Friday, September 18th. Students MUST follow the dress code listed on the flyer in order to participate. If your child is not participating, he/she must wear the school uniform.

Day 4 of Freedom Week: "Land of the Free"

Students wore camouflage or green shirts for the countless sacrifices that our military members have made for us to keep this country safe. Americans have important freedoms and rights. Our military helps protect our country and defend those freedoms. We honor them for their courage, dedication, and service. 🇺🇸

This week's happenings.....Ms. Deidre Jones' class reviewed science definitions about sound game show style! They answered questions about vibrations, volume, pitch, and how sound travels. These scholars should ace their upcoming test.

As we continue with Freedom Week, "Hats Off to Freedom" was our theme today. We wore hats in support of our troops who fight for our freedom. Thank you to the brave women and men who serve our country.

Third and fourth graders engaged in discussions about the Constitution, Preamble, Amendments, and other documents of the government.

We've started our Freedom Week festivities here at The Vision. Today's theme is "Shine Bright for Freedom." Students wore neon shirts and/or sunglasses to show America's future is bright. Enjoy the pics!🇺🇸☀️🕶
