Just wanted to say thank you to SWVAL - Southwest Virginia Alternative Living Expo for having Young Shiitake at their 2nd annual Alternative Living Expo last weekend. This is such a great event put on by an amazing group of people who are dedicated in bringing knowledge to Southwest Virginia and beyond on how to create a self-sufficient lifestyle. We met a lot of cool vendors and participants throughout the weekend. Looking forward to next year. 🍄

Join Young Shiitake tomorrow Saturday, May 30 and Sunday, May 31for the SWVAL - Southwest Virginia Alternative Living Expo @ The Berglund Center in Roanoke, VA. This is a great event choc-full of classes and vendors serving the homesteading/alternative living community. We'll have all of our products available and we'll also be doing "how to" inoculate shiitake mushroom log demos going on at our booth. If you interested in learning about how to be more self- sufficient then this expo is for you!

Young Shiitake will be back this September at the Beaver Dam Farm Sunflowers Festival! Bring the fam and enjoy the sunflowers and all the amazing vendors in Buchanan, Virginia. Dates TBD

We'll be set up in Monterey, Virginia for the Highland County Maple Festival! Come see us the next two weekends (March 14 and 15 March 20 and 21). The weather is looking great and we're so excited to be back!

Young Shiitake will be setting up in Monterey, Virginia at the 66th annual Highland County Maple Festival March 14-15 and March 21-22. This is a rain or shine County-wide festival and one of our favorite events of the year! We'll have pre-inoculated shiitake mushroom logs (ready to grow your own mushrooms this growing season), dried shiitake and lion's mane, shiitake and lion's mane seasoning powders, lion's mane coffee sweetener, and hand crafted mushroom jewelry. We can't wait to be back in beautiful Monterey, Virginia!

Young Shiitake will be at the Forest Holiday Market in Forest, VA today from 9-12. So many great vendors for all your holiday needs. Come see us!
