Freedom Empowerment Building Program

s core aim to assist residents with owner-occupied repair, emergency repair and mortgage assistance through SC HELP. FEBP has been able to assist homeowners in our 7(seven) counties with over $800,000 in the rehab and weatherization service through the SC Housing’s administration of Housing Trust Fund dollars. FEBP serves the following homeowners of Berkeley, Charleston, Dorchester, Colleton, Georgetown and Hampton Counties. Johnson Jr. has served as the Executive Director of FEBP since 2013. In 2013, the agency focused on mortgage assistance through SC Help and in September 2013 added home repair services. Johnson is the Overseer of the PHDAC, Inc. of Walterboro, SC. Through the concerted effort of Mr. Johnson and his staff they are, “Empowering the Community, One Family at a Time!” FEBP is meeting the needs of the community.
