South Carolina college students experience the balance of power each summer through Santee Cooper's Environmental Intern Program.
Each summer, twelve South Carolina college students will experience this great opportunity to learn about the power industry and the challenges Santee Cooper faces to balance environmental stewardship, financial stability, and operational needs. We are so very sorry to hear of the passing of former Intern, Jacob Stagg of Florence. Jacob was in the program in 2016. Prayers are being lifted for Jacob’s family during this most difficult time.
