😅 TRUE STORY!!!! This is the power of floating!!!!
A lovely woman floated for the first time last week. She was super worried about being alone with her thoughts, but tried it anyway.
She loved it. Felt amazing. Thoughts slowed down.
And the best part?! She was in town for a graduation party and had to see her ex-husband.
As you can tell from our super scientific "ex-husband hate meter," her detest for him was off the charts.
After her float? At the party? She reported back there was no hate. Super chill. Did not care about the dude.
If you need a nervous system reset and mood uplift, come see us this weekend!

Short story time! We once had a woman drink a Red Bull before her float. We found out when she got out a little early, because her mind was racing and she was bouncing off the walls. 😅
Before your float, we send a list of tips designed to optimize your float experience. No caffeine at least 3 hours before your float is one of them!
And that's why. Caffeine is a stimulant and encourages the opposite of what you're trying to achieve with float therapy!
Along the way, we've had a few others have the same experience after having caffeine before their float, so please try to avoid it so your brain has the best chance to relax!

Simone is a freaking rockstar who uses float therapy to help manage symptoms from MS (multiple sclerosis).
She texted us 5 minutes ago that after her float yesterday, she's in less pain and slept so good!
We were also informed that it was World MS Day today, and THAT is why you're seeing Simone's lovely face on your feed today.
Many of our clients come to FloatQC having tried everything else under the sun for their chronic pain. Float therapy for them is often life changing.
If you've been wanting to try it, now is the perfect time.

New wellness center renovation progress update!!! There isn't a lot of visible stuff to show you, but here is a before and after.
This is where our grab and go fridges will be. We have the drywall up and are waiting for mudding/taping to happen.
Then we can get the floors in and start painting! Still no firm open date, but getting closer! 💃💃💃

Here's something we've noticed over 9 years of running FloatQC.
A disproportionately large number of clients we see are women going through perimenopause or menopause.
And it's not a coincidence.
They come in exhausted. Achy. Not sleeping. Running on empty and frustrated that nothing is really helping.
Sound familiar?
Here's what's happening in your body.
Estrogen drops, cortisol spikes, your nervous system gets stuck in overdrive. You're wired but tired. Everything hurts a little more than it used to.
And sleep? 😴😴😴
Sleep becomes this thing you used to be good at.
Float therapy doesn't fight any of that.
It just gives your body a break from ALL of it for an hour. Zero gravity means zero pressure on your joints and muscles.
1,100 lbs of magnesium-rich water. Complete quiet. Your nervous system finally gets the signal to power down.
What we hear after:
✅ "I slept like a baby for three days"
✅ "My hot flashes have been better since I started floating regularly"
✅ "I feel more like myself"
We can't promise everyone the same experience. But we've seen it enough times that it's worth an hour of your time to find out. ~Aaralyn, Owner

This should be an easy one 😅 In true Jeopardy fashion, the answer to the question is:
"Not sure yet. Hopefully soon!"
So what's the question we've been hearing on repeat?!

She came in yesterday for the first time in three months.
She'd been working every single day.
No days off, no breaks, just grinding.
And when she finally had a day to herself...floating was the first thing she thought of.
That's what happens when you float regularly.
One float is awesome. Even people who haven't been in for years leave feeling better.
We hear it all the time - "my nervous system feels completely reset" after just one session.
But something different happens when floating becomes a habit.
You start to KNOW what it does for you.
So when your back goes out, when you've had a headache for three weeks straight, when your neck won't let up, when you're just worn down and running on empty...you don't wonder what might help.
You already know.
It becomes your first go-to instead of an afterthought.
This woman floats about once a month. And after three months without it she could feel the difference.
Not because floating stopped working...but because her body remembered what it felt like when she did.
That's the goal. Not just one amazing float. But building something your body responds to.
Once a month is a great place to start.

✅ "I'm not good at relaxing."
✅ "I can't sit still."
✅ "My brain never shuts off."
✅ "My husband would never do this, he's terrible at relaxing."
I get it. I really do.
But here's what you NEED to know.
You're not bad at relaxing. Your brain is sabotaging you.
There's a big difference.
Your nervous system has one job - to keep you safe. And it's really, really good at it. So good that after weeks, months, sometimes YEARS of stress, high alert becomes your default setting.
So when you finally stop...your brain panics.
Suddenly you remember every unfinished thing on your to-do list. Every awkward conversation from three years ago.
Every thing you should probably be doing right now instead of sitting still.
That's not YOU being bad at relaxing. That's a nervous system doing exactly what it was trained to do.
Float therapy doesn't ask you to be good at it.
It just removes everything your brain has been reacting to. The noise, the light, the gravity, the input. And without all of that to process...your nervous system starts to settle on its own.
It might not happen on your first float. It might take a few.
But you're not broken. You're just wound up.
And we can help with that.
