6pm Mondays is a Yoga-ish class. The moves will help you bust out of winter hibernation. You will walk out feeling taller and more bendy. Part Yoga-Part Easy Workout…it’s a class for everyone from the most beginner of beginners to the most advanced. Don’t miss out !

Yoga-ish Yoga-ish at Haus of Om

Today was a melancholy day.

I had listed all of our equipment for sale and…it sold 🙂. Super awesome gym, super awesome people. I know it’s going to a good home.

Still watching all of it load up on the trailer…I did get a bit teary eyed…all the kids that used those machines…the incredible people that each and every one of those knuckleheads became. The successes they have all had. On the field..off the field…in school…in college…in the military…now a lot of them have children of their own.

Those machines carry a history…a legacy...

Hatha vinya-soul with Tre’ is a warm, all levels, vinyasa flow class. Come unwind as you listen to slow n’steady hip-hop, and R&B beats.

Then Shannon will teach B.r.a.t. - because real athletes train! This is an all levels, hour long class that focuses on form, fundamentals, and flexibility to improve overall athletic performance.

Some really really exciting news. I am developing a Functional Fitness Class for kids.
Class will be held at Haus of Om in Rock Island.

I’m baaaaaaaaaack!

Well, kind of. I will be teaching on Wednesday nights at Haus of Om in Rock Island starting March 1st.

Classes are $12

They are all designed to be modified so the most beginner of beginners can accomplish it, while the most seasoned of fitness nuts will find it challenging.
The old favorites "8 Minute Abs", "Pita", "Night of 1000 Squats" will be sifted in with new routines like "Angels and Arrows", "Heads, Shoulders, Knees, and Toes".
All workouts can be accomplished with as much or as little impact as you like. Even the good ol' Burpee can be modified so, you, yes, YOU, can do them.

It is with a great amount of sadness that we make the following announcement

After trying very hard over the last few months to stay open, we have decided to close. The decision was not easy.

We would love to sell the business, let us know if you know any one interested.

We are going to be selling equipment. We will post up pics.

35 days until we reopen.

Yesterday Addison Gelande and I used mucked and Physics to move equipment. Today we had to call in the big guns to help us move some more equipment. The King of Triceps Guy Morse helped us move more equipment and load stuff up to take home.

The decision was made to retire the worlds most comfy couch. She would have been able to be the resting place for more sweaty butts, but, alas the leaky ceiling at the mall has ruined her. There will be a ceremony before she goes to the great living room in the sky. I am thinking we will have a memorial page. 🙂. So many memories surround her, she lived a good life!
