We just had our final dress rehearsal for these concerts, and if you want to hear around 90 minutes of movie music played by these incredible high school musicians, you do NOT want to miss these concerts! Tickets are available at the door starting an hour before each performance. Hope to see you there!

Do you have a young musician performing in the 5th Grade Band and Orchestra All-City Concert? Stop by the BPAC lobby to purchase a small bouquet for your musician to celebrate their musical achievements! Each bouquet is $5, and we accept cash, PayPal and Venmo.

Our orchestras were guest conducted by composer and orchestra educator, Joshua Reznicow today in class! Each orchestra is performing a piece by him at our next concert, and rarely do we have a concert without at least one Reznicow piece on it. It's always amazing working with a modern composer who can give first hand insight into their compositions.

Grant Highlight:

Thanks to a Moline Public Schools Foundation Grant, the Marching Spartans Drumline had an excellent start to this past marching season with new bass drum stands, new tenor drum stands, plus a set of new tri-tom tenor drums to keep the rhythm strong (and a little lighter for our growing group of talented drummers)! 💛💙 Check the picture comparing the size of the new toms (white) to our current set (black).

This grant ensures that the Spartans’ investment in quality instruments continues to be well cared for, all while keeping our students safe and ready to shine. 🌟

If you have any grocery shopping to do this weekend, hit up Hy-Vee on the Avenue in Moline Saturday morning from 9-10am to see the Marching Maroons performing outside for door donations. We'll be playing a variety of pop music, plus our famous cadence series, and our Bruno Mars marching show! This is a great annual fundraiser for us with the door donations going to the marching band to help cover expenses and equipment purchases. Hope to see you there!
