Don’t forget to fill out your Census!
Our goal as a Chamber is for everyone in our community to complete their Census. We want to thank Floreciente Association , Quad Cities Chamber, JTM Concepts, LULAC #10, Moline Community Development Corporation, and St. Ambrose for attending to our Census meeting. A special thanks to Alejandra Martinez from World Relief for presenting us with information about the Census.

It's almost Spring, so that means time to spring clean. We are need of furniture ASAP for our new families arriving to the US. We need love-seats, chairs, kitchen tables and chairs, end tables, dressers, lamps, coffee tables, chest of drawers. Please make sure they are gently used and clean. If you have donations please call us at 309-764-2279.
We are in need of a stroller for one of our families- if you have a gently used stroller please let us know. Thank you!!!

Today we join the Quad Cities Chamber of Commerce and other area businesses in reminding folks that WE ARE ALL QUAD CITIZENS. Pictured are friends in our Family Literacy Program at Church of Peace in Rock Island. The program is made possible through a partnership with Spring Forward. Our two organizations have teamed up to welcome newcomers and provide adult English Language and pre-K Instruction. One Human Family QCA

Dim came to the Quad Cities 3 years ago as a refugee from Myanmar and has since excelled in school, helped her parents buy a house, and volunteers at church. She will attend Augustana College this Fall. We are so proud of you Dim!
