THIS SUNDAY, October 30th is our annual Paws in the Parking Lot event at the shelter (4001 78th Ave. Moline, IL). We have a great list of vendors! There will be food available for purchase, a pet costume contest at 2pm, and Trunk or Treat also in the parking lot from 12-3. Come dressed up, bring the kids, dogs, and have a great time! The shelter will be open for adoptions in the afternoon as well.

We like to give Santa a little taste of Holland here in Illinois with our delicious Windmill cookies. Did you know traditionally Windmill cookies, or Speculaas, were traditionally served on Dec 5th and 6th to celebrate St. Nicholas Day and are a popular cookie made during the Christmas season.
