Important tips!
There will be increased heat risk across Oregon this weekend, with temperatures expected to be around 90 degrees.
Extreme heat can seriously affect the health of infants, children, people with a chronic medical condition and older adults, as well as those who may not have access to air conditioning. These may include people who live or work outdoors and people who have low incomes.
Check in regularly with family, friends and neighbors who are vulnerable to heat, especially if they live alone, older or don't have Air Conditioning (A/C). If you have A/C consider inviting them over to cool off.
211info.org often has information to help you locate local cooling centers as they open.

We're so grateful to the Marie Lamfrom Charitable Foundation for their support following the December 2025 Atmospheric Flooding.
Thanks to their generosity, CCVOAD is better able to reach vulnerable community members, stabilize housing, and restore the essential resources people need to move forward.
One flood survivor offered "truly heartfelt thanks for the prompt aid and relief provided" — a reminder of why this work matters so much.
Thank you for believing in Clackamas County's recovery.
