We had the absolute pleasure of visiting the Mokena Girl Scout Troop 75992 this week! They ran the concession stand at last month’s Santa’s Secret Workshop (with fantastic enthusiasm and professionalism). They graciously wanted to donate some of their proceeds to Mokena Miracles! We appreciate their dedication to helping others!

While not the highlight of the visit, the surprise of Girl Scout cookies was great! If you’re in need of cookies, they can probably help you out!

The battle is over and the pizza lovers have emerged victorious! 🍕 At MJHS, the Advisories that brought home the pie (and the pizza parties) are:

6th Grade - Albon
7th Grade - Shoenecker
8th Grade - Baltzer

And the cherry on top? A cool $1,500 raised! Shoutout to the NJHS students for making it all happen! 🎉

Mokena Intermediate 5th Graders are basically superheroes, racking up over 5,000 positive points! Board Game Bash, here we come! 😄

The power of kindness prevails! 🎉 School District 159's Elementary and Intermediate Schools have concluded their Penny Wars, and we're thrilled to announce that together, we've raised an astonishing $2,536.24! 🙌 A heartfelt thank you to each and every participant who made this possible! 💕 When classes resume on Tuesday, the winning grade at each school will be revealed. 📚 Special kudos to the incredible team at Old Plank Trail Community Bank in Mokena for their patience and assistance with the coin counter machine! 🙏
