Sandbags for Turlock
As a service to our citizens, the Municipal Services department operates a sandbag pickup operation. Turlock residents can pick up sandbags for use during storm events to prevent damage and flooding on their property, however we do not deliver sandbags.
If flooding occurs on city streets, you may clean debris from the grating ,but please do not remove storm grates or manhole covers, as doing so will create safety and security problems.
During the raining season, sandbags will be available at a self-serve basis 24/7 at 901 South Walnut Ave. During a storm, the City will man the sand bag station from 8AM-4PM Mon.-Fri.
To report a water, sewer or streets related emergency, please dial 668-1200. This is the Turlock Police Department Dispatch line and it is for emergency calls only.

City of Modesto Residents
The Self-Serve Sandbag Site for City of Modesto residents is located at the corner of North Washington and Elm Street near the City of Modesto Corporation Yard.
City of Modesto residents can fill up to 20 sandbags per household free at any time of the day or night. You will need to fill your own bags, so please bring your own shovel. If you have questions, you can call Street Services at 209-342-2244.

Resident Property Manager for 32-unit complex in Modesto, Stanislaus County, California. Manager will work approximately 25 TO 30 hours a month.

The complex resident manager requires the following skill set:
Office: includes but is not limited to: Light computer skills, typing...and phone. Must like working with people and enjoy facilitating repairs and maintenance issues. Required to do apartment inspections of the interior of the units and the exterior of the units. Keep Laundry Room clean and free of debris and assist in property debris pickup. Clean vacant units as needed. Pool cleaning, opening, and closing the pool

Minimum Maintenance skills: Includes but not limited to, installation of smoke and carbon detectors, filters, broken switch and plug plates, cleaning units for new tenant occupancy, etc...
Must have valid California Driver’s License and Vehicle

Resident Management will be paid an hourly wage plus receive a rent deduction. Hourly wages will be set to the experience of the individual member. Manager must live in and occupy the assigned unit at the complex.

The complex has a swimming pool and Coin Op laundry. Located close to shopping and buses.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Salary: $14.00 to $15.00 /hour
