Calling all Enslen Families!

Tomorrow, Thursday Feb 6th is Kids Invite Someone Special (KISS) Day at the Book Fair! Invite someone special to shop the book fair with you and grab some chocolate kisses!

The Book Fair will be open today after school, tomorrow before and after school, and Friday ONLY before School.

We look forward to seeing your special someone tomorrow!

Thank you to the Downey High School baseball team for reading with our
TK - 2nd grade students on Friday. The students loved having you read to them! 📚 🦅 ⚾️

Enslen Chorus helped kick off the holiday season with a wonderful concert tonight! 🎶 🎤 🎅🏼 🎄 🦅

Enslen 🦅’s had a great time today dunking staff! Students met their October attendance goal and were rewarded with a dunk tank! We are so proud of our Eagles!

Thankful grams! Dress your favorite staff member as a Turkey for the day 🦃

Each thankful gram is worth one feather. The staff member with the most feathers at the end of sales will dress as a turkey on November 23rd!

Good morning Enslen families! As you know, increasing our attendance rate and decreasing our number of students chronically absent is a major focus for our school. Below the updated data on our attendance goal and how we are doing each month. Our October attendance rate was higher than September and our chronic absentee rate continues to decrease. Students are receiving outstanding instruction each day they are present and attendance is critical to their success. We are so proud of our Enslen Eagles!

Good morning Eagles! We are super excited for our Jog-A-Thon next Friday, November 3rd! On Monday, we celebrated our students with perfect attendance for the month of September with a special “VIP Lounge Recess”. Students had extra recess time for their perfect attendance and hard work each day!

Students will have an opportunity to participate in our next VIP Lounge in November if they have perfect attendance this month!
