When we draw close to God in contemplation and prayer, we soon form a spiritual life (Mystical life) with God. This is called Christian Mysticism and is healthy and entirely different from far eastern spiritualism; which does not recognize Jesus as the Son of God.

Turn your eyes upon Jesus,
Look full in His wonderful face,
And the things of earth will grow strangely dim
In the light of His glory and grace.

W H E R E H A V E M Y H E R A L D ’ S, G O N E ?

What if Jesus would say to you:

Where have My heralds gone?
Why are they silent?
I see you and you perform
Yes, act well the part.

Not a leader among you,
To blow My horn of alarm
To sound the trumpet
As the enemy devours My people.

HOLY SPIRIT AT PENTECOST

In quiet splendor
I wait for the wand of sparkling life
To again touch me silently
Yes, the Holy Spirit always keeps me.

Can I describe it to others?
Will the words come to share?
Oh, the glory of the moment
When the Holy Spirit visits?

The euphoria of it, so grand,
Seek it with all your heart,
Be humble and meek before Him,
And quietly await, His gentle touch.

GOD REMOVE MY SIN BLINDERS

The Scripture states
That when we chose to
Sin over and over again
God let’s us waddle
In our foolishness
Until asking forgiveness.

God, you put blinders
Over Pharaoh’s reason
So Moses words fell
On a dulled proud mind
That is until it was
Too late for action.

FINDING HOPE POEM

In a world full of uncertainty.
Hope is peace
In troubled waters.

Yet, Christian Hope is more
Than help in mere existence,
It is a candle
Burning in the darkness.

In our twenties
Our Hope lies
In the strength of our bodies
Which seem eternal.
