Had to SHARE the 💝 Love

May reminds me of my childhood, in the 1930’s, making and delivering May Baskets filled with flowers and sweet treats to my friends and school mates, on the first of May. We called it , May Day. It was a way to show that you have a personal bond with that person.

In 1948, to honor our mothers with devotion and love, the second Sunday in May was officially designated by President Harry S. Truman as Mothers Day.

A mother or not, you’ve mothered someone. So be a parent, make a special bond with yourself, and commit to keeping a positive attitude, healthy diet, and consistency in your workouts!

To remind you, give yourself a little May ,Flower Basket, or little plant, but take it easy on the sweet treats!

A HUGE thank you to the community of Stanislaus for all the donations for the LA county fire victims (diapers, wipes, food, clothes, toys, shoes, jackets, blankets, hygiene products and the list goes on!) This community has blown me away with their generosity and their willingness to do whatever they can to come together and help. The humanity that has been felt the last few days, is a feeling I never want to go away!! When strangers come together and help no matter the circumstances, is what REAL connection is truly about.

My fiancé Zachary Fisher, M & M Movers, and Matthew MacDonald are all headed to LA and should be getting there around 6pm this evening to deliver all the goods and help anyway they can for the next couple of days.
