Established in 1992 Stanislaus County PAL is a Juvenile Crime Prevention Program providing services to youth in Stanislaus County.
This program was founded in 1992 through the efforts of Martin G. Peterson, former Superintendent of the Stanislaus County Office of Education, and former Stanislaus County Sheriff Les Weidman. At present Stanislaus County PAL serves many young people in the unincorporated areas of our county. We currently have sites in Westley, Grayson, Keyes, Empire, Waterford, Oakdale, and Modesto where we operate a total of 23 sites throughout Stanislaus County.

Some of our members represented us at Run With The Cops 5k Sacramento! A run that supports Sacramento Police Canine Association and Law Enforcement Chaplaincy Sacramento . We are happy to support first responders and what better way than running!

Peace Officer Memorial Run which is set for Sunday October 4, 2026! Give them a follow! We heard they offer a Full Gear 5k, 5k half marathon and a Full Gear Uniform Challenge Half Marathon! Let’s not forget the kids fun run!
