We had the privilege to be honored with the Pride proclamation from the City of Modesto this evening. The City of Modesto has been a huge supporter of our LGBTQ+ community and all the work we and everyone does for our community members. They have proclaimed June as PRIDE month many, many times in the past and continue their support this year.

We are grateful to have received this proclamation for many years, and we’re thankful that 2026 is another year of inclusion.

CalPride Stanislaus is excited to announce that starting June 15th, we will begin offering FREE and confidential HIV and Hepatitis C testing at our office! Monday through Friday, 10 AM- 3 PM. Walk-ins and appointments are welcome! Spread the word!

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
Support the CalPride Stanislaus Firework Booth Fundraiser!

Every firework purchased helps keep CalPride Stanislaus programs, events, and safe spaces low-barrier for the people who need them most across Stanislaus County.

We’re looking for community volunteers (18+) to help staff our fireworks booth from:

June 30 – July 4
N. Carpenter Road, Modesto, CA
Shifts available every 3 hours from 9AM–9PM
3 volunteers needed per shift

This is a fun way to give back, meet community members, support local LGBTQ+ programming, and help us continue building accessible resources for our region.

CalPride Stanislaus is proud to be a pantry partner with FIGS (The Food Initiative of Greater Stanislaus). Through the support of the incredible teams at FIGS and Interfaith Ministries, our pantry continues to grow and provide the essentials our community deserves.

From staples like oats, rice, and beans to center snacks, seasonal fruits and vegetables, milk, eggs, and bread, these partnerships help keep our shelves stocked and our peers cared for. Soon, we’ll also have access to meat options as our programming expands.

Food access is community care, and at CalPride Stanislaus we take that seriously for all. Our food programming continues to grow through initiatives like Kitchen Qweens, where food professionals come into the center to teach folks how to make approachable everyday meals, as well as our medically tailored meal programs designed to support people through nutrition and wellness.

Our food pantry is open Monday–Friday from 10 AM–3 PM, excluding days the center is closed.

This Memorial Day, we are reminding ourselves of two things: grief takes time and change is possible. 🇺🇸

Grief is not a sign of weakness. It is a sign of love and memory. The memories of our lost loved ones, family members, and fellow soldiers are with us forever. We honor them every day.

We will be okay. You will be okay. Change will come, because we fight forward with the memories of our loved ones 🤍
