One of our students nominated Mrs. Rast and she has the honor of being selected as the nominee for the San Jose Sharks NHL CLUB as part of the 2026 Most Valuable Teacher Program with the NHL and NHLPA.

She needs your help, for the chance to win the title and a VIP experience!

Tomorrow starts our giveaway week leading up to our Fall Festival- this Saturday October 18th from 11-4.

Please don’t participate if you know you are not attending the Festival so students who are can win them.

Tuesday- there will be a camera set up on stage with a backdrop for you to create a fun short video to promote the festival. They will be posted in our page and the top voted will receive their choice of food vouchers or tickets.

Wednesday - On the stage will be a spinning wheel for you to spin. If you land on our sticker then you’ll receive your choice of a food vouchers or tickets.

Thursday - The Pumpkin 🎃 Hunt. Mini pumpkins will be hidden on campus. Find one and bring it to Mrs. Rast on break or lunch in room #46 to receive your choice of a food vouchers or tickets.

Friday - In the quad come and guess how many candies are in a jar. Guess correctly and you’ll receive your choice of a food vouchers or tickets.

Don’t forget to mark your calendars for our Fall Festival. It’s right around the corner!!!! Your Renaissance Rising Leaders have been hard at work since August to prepare. This is a family friendly event for Ustach Students and Sylvan families. As always security is in full force and there will be wanding at both entrances. Come support your PTSA.

We hope you have all been enjoying your summer break! We are already getting geared up to welcome you back!! Please mark your calendars for Round Up and join us during your designated time to get everything you need to start school.

A FEW THINGS TO NOTE:

1. If you don’t have all of your immunizations you will NOT be given your schedule. Please get that sorted out now!

2. You are only pre-ordering PE clothes, you are NOT picking them up. Those are distributed the second week of school in PE class!! You can beat waiting in line at Round Up and order online.

3. Order your Yearbook before school starts and receive $5 off and a FREE Spirit-wear T-Shirt! Order online now or at the Student Store During Round-Up. Any credit card purchases must be done online. Then you can pick up your spirit wear at the window. Only CASH & CHECK at the Student Store.

If you didn’t get a yearbook the past few years!! Don’t fear you have a last chance to grab one. One time only for $5.00. They will be sold outside of the 40’s POD at each roundup. Come get yours!! Cash only!

Kodiaks tomorrow when you arrive at our Festival please note what gate you’ll need to enter at. If you have a current ID or Renaissance Card (must have a photo) you can enter with your family through the Sports Gate. If you don’t have your current ID or it doesn’t have a photo please head down to the Gates by the front office where Mr. Davis will be checking you in.

Please leave your backpacks at home. All bags will be searched and metal detectors will be at both entrances. Please don’t bring in outside food or open drinks. Following these rules will help the line move quickly.
