The Modesto Junior College Department of Music presents
BRAIN WAVES
ELECTRONIC MUSIC CONCERT
Wednesday April 3, 2024 at 7:00 pm
MJC Recital Hall
The concert will feature original electronic music compositions created by student composers from the Modesto Junior College Music Technology Program. The composers featured will be Eva Ascencio, Aaron Barajas, Eloy Bazan, Daniel Castillo, Carlos Galindo, Ryan Gurule, Raul Moreno, Cole Nykoluk, Beau Olthof, Diana Olthof, Magdalena Rojas and Chris Walker. The music will be created using computers, synthesizers, samplers and digital effects. Some of the compositions will be live performances while some are pre-recorded. The MJC Music Technology Director, David Dow, will also present an original electronic music composition.
The concert is free and available to the public.
