Yesterday was truly inspirational! 🤩 Susan Thomas, and Jane Manley attended the reception and reading to honor the new Stanislaus Youth Poet Laureate, Zoe Byron from Oakdale, and bid a fond farewell to our inaugural laureate, Faith Delgado of Turlock. Congratulations Zoe, we can't wait to see the amazing things you do this year! 🥳

The Youth Poet Laureate program is a partnership among the Modesto-Stanislaus Poetry Center, Stanislaus County Library, Stanislaus County Office of Education, and the Stanislaus Library Foundation. An example of the wonderful things that can happen when community groups work together to empower others!

Our Party at the Library 🥳 held last night at the Stanislaus County Library was very inspiring! Our supporters give so much to us in support of the libraries all across Stanislaus County, that we want to give a little back in appreciation.

We hope everyone had a wonderful time mingling, eating, laughing, and hearing updates about our vast library programs.

We hope to see you all again next year! 🥰
