The City of Modesto City Council and Modesto City Schools Election Nomination period opened on Monday, July 13th, and ends on Friday, August 7th, 2026.

Individuals interested in running for City Council Districts 2, 4, or 5 and Modesto City Schools Areas 1, 3, 5, or 7 must schedule an appointment with the City Clerk’s office to obtain and file nomination papers.
