Great news for our Maverick families continuing into Extended Season this year! 🎉

✨ NEW THIS YEAR: Swimmers participating in Extended Season are able to continue swimming through November 30th!

We’re so excited to have the opportunity for our swimmers to keep building their skills, staying in the water, and continuing the momentum from an incredible summer season. 💪🌊

If your swimmer is continuing with Extended Season, we can’t wait to see them keep working hard and having fun in the pool! 🏊‍♀️🏊‍♂️

One of the most beautiful things about swimming is that it never really lets you say, “That’s it… I’ve mastered it.” 🏊‍♂️

You learn freestyle…
then you discover there’s a huge difference between simply swimming it and truly mastering it.

You improve your breathing…
then you start noticing your shoulder rotation.

Your kick gets stronger…
then you become more aware of your body position.

You get faster…
then you realize that speed itself has an entirely new level of detail.

And that’s how swimming keeps opening one door after another.

Even a swimmer who has spent years in the water can finish a single session with something new they want to improve tomorrow.

And that’s exactly what makes swimming so beautiful.

You’re not repeating the same 50 meters.

Every time, you enter those 50 meters with a stronger body, a sharper feel for the water, and a deeper understanding of how to move through it.

So don’t rush to become a “great swimmer.”

Enjoy the fact that there will always be a movement you can refine, a second you can gain, and a feeling for the water you haven’t discovered yet.

Because swimming is one of those rare sports you can spend a lifetime doing…

and it will still give you a reason to be excited about coming back tomorrow. 🌊

From the very first meet to the Meet of Champions, Steven has been a force to be reckoned with! 🏆 Week after week, he consistently found himself at the front of the pack, earning 1st place in nearly every race he entered all season long.

This weekend was the perfect way to cap off an incredible summer—bringing home the 6 & Under Boys High Point Championship at the Meet of Champions! 🥇🌟

Steven’s hard work, determination, and love for racing have been inspiring to watch. We can’t wait to see what the future holds for this little speedster. Congratulations on an unforgettable season, Steven—you’ve made your Maverick family so proud! 💙🖤🌊

Our Modesto Mavericks 6 & Under Relay Team raced their hearts out at the 2026 Meet of Champions and brought home 🥇 1st Place!

These four young athletes showed what the Maverick spirit is all about—courage, determination, teamwork, and believing in one another. Watching them cheer each other on, trust one another, and finish as champions was something truly special.
