Heat illness can be deadly. Your employer must provide water, rest, shade and training so that you can work longer, feel stronger, and avoid heat illness.
Remember to: Drink water often, even if you aren’t thirsty. | Rest in the shade to cool down. |Report heat symptoms early. | Know what to do in an emergency.
Let’s make heat safety part of the job. If your employer is not providing what is required for you to be safe in the heat, call Cal/OSHA for help. Your call is confidential.
California DIR

The NVLF is hiring a full-time Organizer based in Merced County! NVLF.org/jobs (link in bio)
At this moment when workers face skyrocketing costs of living, mass layoffs, ICE raids, and unprecedented attacks on our right to unionize, it’s critical to build the labor movement in order to fight back. We need all the support we can get this year as we run our general election campaign, assist workers with wage theft claims, conduct worker rights’ and organizing trainings, and advocate for pro-worker policies. If that’s something that feels important for you or someone you know, apply to join our team now!
We are currently seeking a new Organizer to join our team and work an a broad range of labor, electoral, and grant funded programs. Full details are posted at nvlf.org/jobs.
