📚 Saturdays are for scholarship.

Each week, I’m proud to contribute to the Law in Motion section of North East Colors alongside my co-author, Md. Imran Wahab, where we explore evolving issues in forensic science, medico-legal investigation, and the intersection of science and justice.

Our weekly articles are published every Saturday on Page 5, covering topics ranging from death investigation trends and forensic pathology to evidence interpretation and emerging challenges in the legal landscape.

At CS Forensic Science Consulting, staying engaged in research, education, and professional discourse is central to our mission. These publications allow us to contribute to important conversations shaping the future of forensic science—both here in the U.S. and internationally.

Be sure to follow along each week and join the conversation.

At CS Forensic Consulting, we believe advancing forensic science means bridging research, practice, and education.

We’re proud to share two recent publications that reflect that mission:

📖 Our latest peer-reviewed article in the International Journal for Multidisciplinary Research (IJFMR) explores the future of forensic pathology and death investigation, highlighting advancements in virtual autopsy, artificial intelligence, forensic microbiome analysis, and emerging legal frameworks.

📰 Our newest feature in North East Colors, Inquest: First Step in Death Investigation, examines the critical role of the inquest process as the foundation of medicolegal death investigation. View our article at www.northeastcolors.net on page 5.

From case consultation to research and forensic education, our goal remains the same: delivering evidence-based insight with scientific integrity.

Stay connected for more forensic research, case insights, and expert analysis.

We took a short week-long break to regroup, research, and recharge — but we’re officially back and ready to dive even deeper into forensic science with you. 🔬

Starting March 1, we’re launching a new series: Justice Pending.

This series will spotlight hometown cases that deserve renewed attention — whether they’re unsolved, cold cases, or potential injustices still waiting for answers. Through a forensic science lens, we’ll break down evidence, raise awareness, and keep these stories alive.

Because justice delayed should never mean justice forgotten.

Daily forensic science content resumes now. 🧬

Today’s Forensic Science Daily is shared with care.

When a family is missing, the focus must always remain on the people at the center of the case — not speculation, not theories, not assumptions.

Forensic science plays a quiet but critical role in missing persons investigations. It focuses on context:
• What evidence is present
• What is notably missing
• Scene consistency
• Timelines and patterns

But behind every case file are real people, loved ones, and a community waiting for answers.

The Choc family is more than a headline. They are a family whose absence is felt deeply, and whose loved ones deserve patience, accuracy, and compassion as the investigation continues.

Forensics is not about rushing conclusions — it is about protecting the truth while honoring those affected.

Holding space for the Choc family and all families waiting for answers.

This is part of my Forensic Science Daily series — focused on education, evidence, and ethics.
