Ryan and I got married this month. Still processing. What a crazy thing that people do! And how liberating to choose to commit to one person. It is the most beautiful decision I’ve ever made. Ryan is a role model to me and my best friend. In a lot of ways we are so different, but weirdly we enjoy doing all of the same things (except for giving fist bumps. That’s where I draw the line.), and everything feels like an adventure with him.
I want to apologize to everyone who has texted me or DMed me since the wedding. As you know, I suck at texting, but please know that I’ve read all of your messages and it means so much to me. I WILL get back to you.
I had no idea our wedding would be the best day of my life. TBH I thought it would be way too overwhelming, but turns out it was perfect and beyond what I could have ever imagined. Thank you to all of our friends and family who traveled to be in Mobile. You all made it so extremely special. Favorite moments were: dancing with everyone in the “swamp room” (which was, in fact, very swampy), singing Two Phones by The Dead Mall with , Father Vrazel’s homily, my dance number with my father singing our fav song Dance This Mess Around by The B52s, and watching all of our friends and family having fun.
