Should we start thinking about building a real IRL community?

Best Summer Kayaking 2026
Florida sunshine, a strong summer breeze, and a light chop in the bay brought out all the bald eagles, pelicans, and herons!
Thanks for watching and following. This was seriously the best kayak trip of the year.
Another trip around Perdido Bay is already in the works!

The water 🌊 slowly rewrites the shoreline. Dead pines still standing, roots exposed, sand shifting. Especially here in Pensacola. Living in a hurricane 🌀 hotspot doesn’t make the lifecycle of nature any easier.
Is this the classic sibling rivalry… or the Great Blue Heron episode of Cheaters? Two blue herons going at it, and one completely checked out. Either way, it is full drama on display in the aptly-named Heron Bayou on the Florida Gulf Coast.
I have questions! What do you think is actually going on here 👇
The exact second the flock gets spooked! Pure motion.
Royal terns exploding into the sky over Perdido Bay. That sudden rush of wings never gets old.
Have you ever seen a flock 🪽 take off in pure orchestrated chaos like this?
Watch these two Brown Pelicans dart and twist mid-air as they dive for fish in Perdido Bay 🪽
The way they contort their bodies in flight is unreal!
Share this with a friend who needs to see a real aerial hunt 👐
This Brown Pelican is perched on a channel marker waving me through with those giant wings 👋
👉 Adult pelicans can have wingspans over 7 feet!
