📢The Middle School Boys Basketball scrimmage and JV Boys Basketball practices have been canceled for today due to weather. Stay safe, everyone!

Faith Academy will be providing athletic physicals for students enrolled in the 2026-2027 school year on Thursday, June 25th. This is not a mandatory event - students are welcome to complete their physicals at an office of your choosing - but it is an easy way to check an item off the summer to-do list here on campus.

Lakenn Hilliard was chosen to represent Faith Academy at Alabama Girls State recently. Girls State is a week-long, hands-on learning opportunity for some of the best and brightest young women in the State of Alabama. During the Girls State program, delegates have the opportunity to learn about local and state government through a variety of speakers, workshops, and break out sessions. The objectives of this program are:
* To develop leadership and pride in American citizens.
* To educate citizens about our system of government.
* To instill a greater understanding of American traditions.
* To stimulate a desire to maintain our democratic government processes within our republic.

Congratulations to rising senior, Karley Johnson, for being a Top 8 Finalist as well as a Scholastic Winner in the Distinguished Young Women of Mobile County program last week. Thank you for representing your school in such a beautiful way!

Also, we are so proud of rising juniors, Kiersten Parker-Nelson, Sydney Weant, and Vivian Wood, who participated in the Little Sisters portion of DYW. Wonderful job, ladies!

Faith Academy is proud to recognize Porter Urban for his outstanding performance at the International Academic Competitions (IAC) National Championships in Orlando, Florida.

Competing against some of the nation's most accomplished young scholars, Porter distinguished himself across multiple disciplines, including history, geography, science, and mathematics, earning national recognition among an exceptionally competitive field of students.

Porter was also selected to serve as Alabama's flag bearer during the Opening Ceremonies, a distinguished honor that reflects both his achievement and character.

We congratulate Porter on this remarkable accomplishment and are proud of the way he represented Faith Academy, the state of Alabama, and his family on the national stage. Well done, Porter!
