We are a modern funk band that grooves with every song we play. We display a soulful/energetic atmosphere for our audience members to get funky too.
A three piece, a trio of soulful proportions, Some Good Ish is a band based around the strong friendship of love, humility, and music. These guys are all about having a good time on and off the stage. Based from Mobile, Alabama, Some Good Ish formed in late 2018 with the name of the band derived from "funny puns" about drummer, Ish Williams. The original music is taken from the lyrics of singer/song writer, Brandon Benson. Jared Messinger being the backbone to the harmonic structure of the trio, also serves as the sound/audio engineer for the band. All members of the band play with multiple bands around the area, including performing on multiple instruments. The guys have a a common love for percussion and drum set. If you make it out to a show, you may see the guys switch up instruments and not miss a beat.
