What an incredible day for our Mobile Belles at DYW!

We are so proud to share that Karley placed in the Top 8 and received the Scholastic category scholarship , and Kendall earned a scholarship in the Interview category. Their hard work, poise, and dedication truly shined.

And a huge shout‑out to our five “Little Sister” Belles who participated with such enthusiasm and grace. They represented our program beautifully and supported the older girls with so much heart.

Senior Spotlight!

Alyssa Hembree has made the most of every opportunity, and we are so excited to celebrate her!

A senior at Mary G. Montgomery High School, Alyssa has shown dedication to both her academics and extracurricular involvement. She has participated in Dual Enrollment through Start South and has been an honor student.

Alyssa has been deeply involved in her school community through leadership and service. She served as Treasurer of MGM FBLA, Trumpet Section Leader, and Historian for the MGM Viking Band. Her musical talents and commitment have earned her numerous recognitions, including South Alabama Honor Marching Awards, and the University of Mobile Concert Band Award. She has also been involved in Key Club. In addition, Alyssa has proudly represented her community as an Azalea Trail Maid.

After graduation, Alyssa plans to attend the University of Mobile, where she will major in pre-health biology and minor in chemistry. She hopes to continue her education in veterinary medicine at a higher institution.

Reflecting on her time as a Mobile Belle, Alyssa shared, “My favorite part of being a Mobile Belle is simply getting to experience all the opportunities it’s given me. Being a part of this program has led me to figure out who I am—whether through interview skills, learning how to talk to strangers, or connecting with the other amazing girls in this program. I’ve met so many wonderful people, including my best friend and all the incredible adults that run this program!”

Alyssa, your growth, leadership, and heart for learning are something to be proud of. We are so excited to see where your future takes you!
