g her post in Mayor Dow's administration, Gina accepted a position with MDi media group as the company's public relations director, where she is currently employed. Prior to joining Mayor Dow's staff, Gina reported and anchored the news at WKRG-TV in Mobile for seven years, with a focus on local and state government. Gina's experience in government extends to the state level. She served as the Associate Director for the Alabama Petroleum Council in Montgomery, as a public affairs representative and lobbyist. As the associate director, Gina represented major oil companies doing business in the state, was a member of the Business Council of Alabama, and participated in regional and national legislative conferences. Gina grew up in Ft. Walton Beach, Florida where she attended Choctawhatchee High School. After graduating from the University of Florida with a degree in Broadcast Journalism and a minor in Political Science, Gina began her career as a reporter in Gainesville, Florida at WCJB-TV, before moving to Montgomery, AL to report and anchor the news for WSFA-TV. Gina is a graduate of Leadership Mobile, a member of Mobile United, Habitat for Humanity, the Women's Fund of South Alabama, and the Bay Area Runners. Gina and her husband Todd Golomb have two dogs, Boxers- Scarlett and Rhett. Committees:
