I was pretty young when it came out and my parents were definitely the “No rated R Movies” unless it’s Caddyshack for some reason. Oh my sister got me this awesome Bushwood hat for Christmas. We got a call from our friends at Sir Grout over in Baldwin County — a bad contractor had done a lot of damage to a home with an elderly gentleman who needed all the safety features for his new roll-in shower to be rock solid. Unfortunately, the bad contractor had installed grab bars that were completely unsafe. The homeowner was concerned because one of the grab bars moved, and when I got there, I found that not only did they move — they weren’t leveled, and the anchors weren’t fully seated behind the tile.
So we went to work: secured them properly, added new anchors, leveled them, and sealed everything with 100% silicone. And even with all my weight pulling on them, they didn’t move anymore.
While this client is still pretty distraught over being taken advantage of by a bad contractor, hopefully we brought a little peace of mind into their life — and they’ll let us play with their dogs. 🐾
