Popular YouTuber MrBeast has partnered with the non-profit organization Ghana Make a Difference (GMAD) to open a surgical center in Ghana, aimed at helping children who have endured hard labor and difficult living conditions.
The center is specifically designed to offer critical medical care, including surgeries, for children who were once engaged in physically demanding jobs, such as those in the fishing industry.
GMAD has a long-standing mission of providing shelter, education, and healthcare to at-risk children and those without family support. MrBeast decided to support the project after learning about the urgent healthcare needs of kids in the GMAD program and the long delays they faced in accessing surgeries at local hospitals.
This initiative is part of a broader mission led by Beast Philanthropy, MrBeast’s non-profit organization, which focuses on creating lasting change in underserved communities. The organization has also launched a food bank, funded eye surgeries, and donated shoes to children in need.
