My Dad passed on Friday. He would have been 90 years old this year. He ran his race, far and wide. I was blessed to spend the last couple of months caring for him, along with my family. Even with help it was hard.

In the end, I’m grateful for being able to spend the time with him. Not working was stressful for a time, until I remembered the Father is my source! Sometimes I forget the absolute love and care of the Most High when faced with so much.
My Dad and I got the chance to talk about things, some good, some hurtful, things that laid dormant and forgotten or remembered differently and things now forgiven.

I was able to just shoot the breeze with my Dad. We laughed and shopped together. My Dad was a sharp dresser, and he never cared for jeans. My daughter bought him a pair this year and he wore them but he still didn’t like them. I love you, Dad. Rest well.

Thanks to the folks at Saad hospice, what an amazing staff and a beautiful, peaceful facility. It mattered!

Antique Art Deco Navy Blue Corde Handbag. Gorgeous and high fashion!

1930s/1940s.
It’s Blue, which is rare, typically black.
Carved lucite handles.
Ext. and satin interior in mint shape!
Exterior cording NOT loose, ripped , no holes or dry rotted. Excellent vintage condition.

Snap closure doesn’t snap close, easy fix but not necessary.
Zipper won’t zip from age, holding the handles closes it so no need for repair.
Stitches loose around opening, easy fix. See pics. 4 and 5. Zoom in.
This type bag were generally always black. Finding it in blue was a joy for me. Finding it at all in this shape was a mini miracle.
