I walk my dogs almost every morning and when I do, I always pass this beautiful magnolia tree. I always enjoy taking pictures of the flowers when they bloom.

Recently, the house that owns the tree just got new owners and when I went to walk the dogs this morning, the tree had been cut down. It made me a little sad because that tree was one of the highlights of my walks. I know that magnolia trees can be very inconvenient, so this has nothing to do with the owner but more about what I was thinking about while I was walking.

Those owners never got to see how beautiful the tree was when it bloomed and they never will.

Some of us want to give up on things because we haven’t seen the fruit yet. The fruit of it hasn’t come because it’s not the right season not because the calling is wrong.

Just like how this magnolia tree was cut down before it could bloom again, don’t give up on the calling because it doesn’t look the way you wanted it to on your timeline.

I pray that today that the Lord will confirm again your calling. I pray today that He will show you in a way that will sustain you and not make you second guess what he’s called you to do again. I pray that He will put the right people in your life to help you. I pray that He will make clear the steps that you need to make. 🤎
