We encourage our Rhoers to take an active role in civic engagement and leadership. This past weekend, our Rhoers attended the Elite Chapter of the Mobile Kappa League's Community Conversation. Our youth had the privilege of hearing from and connecting directly with esteemed guest speakers:
C.J. Small, Mobile City Council President
Cory Penn, Mobile City Councilman
Shalela Dowdy, Vice President of the Mobile NAACP
During the event, our Rhoers learned about the importance of civic responsibility and upcoming elections, and had the valuable opportunity to meet and speak one-on-one with each community leader. We are proud to see the next generation actively engaging with the future of our community.
